Santa's Sack: Release 1

Seeing as it is Christmas, (well nearly), we've raided 'Santa's Sack' to help ring in the yuletide joy! Over the next few weeks, we will completely at random select something from the vault of PJ we have, and give to you in the name of Old Saint Nick...

First up....

1993-07-13 Brixton Academy, London, UK Audio

Following the breakthrough success of Ten in 1991/92, the whole world was watching to see what Pearl Jam would do next - with 2 months to go until the release of Vs., the band toured Europe in support of U2 and then Neil Young, making a few stops of their own along the way. Amongst those were two headlining shows at the London Brixton Academy, (where the UK was given an advanced listen to many of the new tracks) the first of which you can hear here!

Show Info:

Show Notes:
'Rats,' due for release in two months, has a funky opening. The start of 'Whipping' sounds almost reggae-like. Ed, offering some insight into 'Rearviewmirror,' explains "... listen to this song in a car really fast, driving away from someone you hate."
